We're a small team that loves food and Bratislava — in that order.
Eat Bratislava started out of a simple frustration: restaurant reviews online were either paid promotion or a one-star rant from someone who got a cold soup five years ago. We wanted a place where we always try the restaurant ourselves, pay for our own food, and write exactly what we think — good and bad.
How we review
We go in anonymously
We never announce ourselves in advance and always pay for our own food, so staff have no idea we're writing a review.
We rate four things
Taste, value for money, service, and atmosphere. The final rating is our shared impression, not a formula.
We write about the bad too
If something didn't taste good or service was slow, we say so. We don't accept paid placements from anyone.
